Congratulations on taking the first step in making a change for a brighter future and experience the support of a caring therapist to help you achieve the best you possible. My style of therapy is described as casual, humorous, and friendly. I have worked with families, teens, young adults and seniors as well as court-mandated adults in both group and individual settings. 

Growing up in a military family I have experienced many of the unique problems military families also face. Feeling overwhelmed, angry or sad are normal emotions and, at times, can be difficult to manage I utilize techniques from my therapeutic background in CBT, DBT and Motivational interviewing to help you develop skills and coping strategies to improve yourself, life and relationships.

I strive to help each person come to a better place of understanding, fulfillment and peace. 

I work to match the best therapeutic technique for each client with a goal to understand and conquer challenging behaviors, mood difficulties, depression, anxiety, stress and grief in a safe environment. 

There are times in everyone’s life when added support is necessary and beneficial in creating a happy and successful life by effectively meeting and overcoming small and large concerns. Individual therapy provides a person with a safe and welcoming space to explore their life. These areas can be focused on your goals for the future, ways to conquer your concerns and fears in a productive way, and reach your desired outcomes. 

Individual therapy is not about taking sides or dictating solutions. You will be supported in working out solutions according to personal values and lifestyle choices to help you achieve satisfaction in your life personally and with your family.
